Distant Drumming

Distant drumming is a north of 60 mystery that is the fifth installment of films based on the series north of 60.

The movie picks up where Another country left off and stars most of the original cast from the series North of 60.and also stars Jennifer Podemski( Dance me outside) as Marjorie Sebastian, an ex-RCMP officer who arrives in town to talk about Native policing in Lynx River.

Tempers flare when Corporal Michelle Kenidi is informed of this face and leaves her brother Peter Kenidi to mediate between the young chief and his RCMP officer sister.

Concern also surrounds the towns people of Lynx River when hunter Joe Gomba is robbed and beaten and a white tourist is found robbed and beaten to death.

In the mean time the discovery of the death of a white tourist leaves the towns people wondering who did it .

Marjorie suspects Daniel D’e’ela whom was supposed to have been the indian guide for the tourists,but backed out at the last minute while Michelle suspects Matthew a troubled young man who just recently got out of jail.

The question is who is really responsible for the death of the white tourist and whom is being falsely accused.
